Politicians and Celebrities

Chicago has played host to events featuring local, national and international speakers. Here are just a few I captured on camera. They include, Illinois Senator Dick Durbin, former President Bill Clinton, feminist icon Gloria Steinem, author Janet Mock, former US Representative Barney Frank, former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, and Senator Bernie Sanders.

Demonstrations

Chicagoans love to speak out. Protests are part of the city's enduring fabric, whether peaceful demonstrations or those far more impassioned. I was fortunate to be able to photograph both.

Events

One is never short of entertainment in Chicago. Whether at a premier hosted by The Wachowskis (The Matrix series. V for Vendetta) an evening of evocative dance, or a guerilla sit in for the homeless at an Alderman's office. These are just a few of the shots I took after the sun went down.
